Many people use digital cameras today for basic snapshots, baby pictures for the grandparents, and memories from the last vacation to Disneyland. More and more, photographers are giving up on film and moving up to digital. With the options, features, and falling prices of digital cameras, there is really no reason not to make the switch. I am an amateur digital photographer in Fallon, Nevada. I have never taken anything more than snapshots on film, but I have been hooked by digital. The versatility and quality of pictures is unmatched. I use a Sony Digital Mavica MVC-FD90 and Adobe PhotoShop 6 for editing. For printing, I use Ofoto and Zing (and ocasionally Shutterfly, when they are running free print promotions). |
