How I got started:

I bought a digital camera to take pictures of my son. Like many people with a new first baby, we bought a camcorder, a digital camera, etc. I started taking hundreds of baby pictures. Then I started taking some of the pets. Soon, I was taking pictures of sunsets, flowers, and everything else I could think of. Now I rarely go a day without taking some pictures.

I am a teacher and recovering lawyer in Northern Nevada. I have been teaching computers and social studies for 11 years, first in Brooklyn, NY, and now in Nevada.
